Do we get to meet with you before the session? Yes! I encourage you to schedule a portrait design consultation before your actual session so we can discuss your portrait location, expression and expectations. I always think it’s a good idea for us to meet as it will put you at ease on the day of shooting. 
Where will you photograph the session? Many of my portrait sessions are done on-location – your home, office or outside location, just about any place you choose. I feel that some of the best portraits are those created at a place that is meaningful to you in order to truly capture your personality and spirit. What should we wear? I recommend simple clothing styles, preferably with solid colours rather than busy patterns. For portraits of more than one subject, outfits should coordinate across the top and bottom. (For example, everyone wears black shirts and blue jeans.) Depending on the type of session you have scheduled, you may want to bring more than one outfit. This is another topic that is looked at during the portrait design consultation. How do we schedule a session? Contact me through the numbers or email address given below to discuss scheduling and ideas for your custom portrait session. The session fee is due at the time of booking, to secure your appointment. Is there a minimum purchase requirement? No. The only requirement I make is that the session fee is paid before the shoot to confirm your portrait session. Once the shoot has taken place you will be supplied with an electronic slide show for you to choose the images you require. There is no obligation to buy! But I’m pretty sure you wont be able to resist! I have an outdoor session scheduled. What if the weather is bad? Don’t worry! If the weather prohibits me from photographing your session, I can either photograph the session indoors or reschedule for another day. 
How will we view and order our images?I will schedule an image preview appointment with you at which you will be able to view all of your images for print selection. During this appointment I will guide you through the selection process to help you choose the portraits and presentation you love most. Orders can be placed at this appointment and after. What if I need to cancel my appointment? If you are unable to keep your session appointment, I will be happy to reschedule the appointment and apply the deposit you've already paid to the rescheduled session, provided you notify me at least 24 hours prior to your original session time and the new session is scheduled within six weeks of the originally scheduled date. Please reschedule appointments for children who are ill! |
